ABSTRACT
The research is designed to evaluate the effect of junior staff training and development in the High Court of Justice Benin City.
The researcher experienced and observed that training and development of junior staff have been ignored in many government establishment.
Some staff work for an average of ten years without any kind of training, as a result, low productivity, inefficiency lack of commitment to work and instability in such establishment is the order of the day.
An organization exist because it can provide some basic and acceptable goods and service to the populace. In order to achieve the objective, the human resources available must be planned.
The decision to embark on this research is as a result of the awareness that the continuous training and development of staff is one of, if not the only means of achieving optimum productivity in any
