ABSTRACT
This research work dealt with the Physical Distribution in Roofing Sheet and Associated
Problems. The main problem affecting physical distribution of roofing sheets is high cost
of transportation associated with the distribution. One of the objectives of the study is to
investigate the impact of efficient warehousing on physical distribution of roofing sheet
products in Nigeria. The researcher used survey method to collect data through
questionnaires distribution and top man’s formular was also used to determine the sample
size of the study. After the analysis of data and test of hypothesis, the result of the
findings and recommendation shows that:
(i) Efficient warehousing promotes physical distribution of roofing sheet
products in East Chase Company.
(ii) Poor road network in Nigeria affects physical distribution of roofing sheet
products.
(iii) Government should help the indigenous company through working and
maintaining the necessary road to easy transportation and distribution of
goods and services.
(iv) Since the physical distribution process is very important one, customer service
managers should be properly trained on matters relating to the distribution of
finished products for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
