This study investigated New Media Technologies awareness and knowledge of undergraduate students of University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Six research questions guided the study. This study was essentially cross-sectional descriptive survey and data used for analysis were collected with structured questionnaire together with in-depth interviews, Stratified random sampling technique was used to draw nine faculties of the campus. Out of these faculties, 300 respondents were randomly drawn to constitute the sample size. Data obtained were statistically treated using descriptive statistics and frequencies. Results of the analysis indicated that the respondents are aware and are knowledgeable about the existence of the new media technology devices, especially mobile telephone, Internet, laptop computer, etc, which are readily available in the university; the respondents use the devices for a wide range of digital activities, which include information gathering, academic research, entertainment, etc. This calls for more concerted efforts on the part of the managers of Nigerian Universities to make e-learning technology more accessible to students at all levels.
