Abstract:
While bccomcsinevitable for organization to seek bcttcr ways of improving thcir pcrforrnance, rnanagers are continually faced with how to improve their operations to reflect the needs of thc employees as well as thc changing market environment. This study attempted to look at how participatory dccision making can rcsult in higher organisational performance in Guinness Nigeria PI,C, Benin The findings of the study revealed dial while there exist to some degree participatory dccision making in the company efforts nlust be made by managers to legitimize the schemes in other to make the workers more responsive to the issues of decision-making in the organisation.
