ABSTRACT
This choice of the topic “motivation of workers and productivity: A case study of the ministry of trade and commerce Benin City, could not have been more opportune in view of the present economic recession in the country. This project is therefore an attempt to de-emphasize the
use of money as the only motivator and to explore other factors which supplement it in other to ensure motivation and consequently productivity. In doing this, the project has been arranged in five chapters as contained in the project.
