UNEMPLOYMENT AMONG NIGERIAN YOUTHS: PROBLEMS, CHALLENGES AND THE WAY FORWARD
ABSTRACT
The concept of unemployment and what is all about most especially among the young people in our society, the problems and challenges faced by these youths as a result of being unemployed has
drawn serious attention to the government which it cannot afford to ignore.
Efforts by successive administration to tackle this persisting problem have yielded no drastic change. To this end research was conducted and questionnaires administered to respondent and response analysed. This was done to know the extent to which unemployment has affected and deterred the youths in contributing their
quota for national development.
